Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still together and are not breaking up, a source close to the Hollywood couple said after numerous reports recently came out saying the couple were to announce their split soon.
After rumours left the public babbling about claims that the couple are splitting up, several sources close to the couple denied the reports.
According to a source, “Everything is fine” with Pitt and Jolie. Another source said that the original report on the rumoured breakup, which was published by ‘The News of the World’, was “totally false”.
‘The News of the World’ reported earlier that the A-list couple went to a lawyer in Los Angeles to file separation documents. The report further said that the couple would share the custody of their six children—Zahara, Shiloh, Maddox, Pax, Vivienne and Knox. All six would live with Jolie while Pitt would be entitled to full visitation rights.
Representatives from both stars refused to comment.
The rumours were also sparked by their absence during the Golden Globe Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, wherein Pitt won for his role in the movie ‘Inglourious Basterds’.
The 46-year-old Pitt and 34-year-old Jolie were last seen together in public earlier this month.
Pitt was spotted with ex-wife Jennifer Anniston during the celebrity telethon for Haiti.
The sources also said that, contrary to rumours, the couple would not be dividing their £205-million fortune since there is no truth to the reported breakup.
