Naomi Campbell will once again organise ‘Fashion For Relief’, a runway show for the benefit of women and children’s healthcare in the earthquake-ravaged Haiti.

The event will also feature high-profile personalities, and an auction to raise money to re-establish the healthcare system for children and mothers in Haiti.

Duchess Sarah Ferguson of York will be hosting the runway show, which will also highlight the world’s top designers and celebrities. There will also be an online auction of donated garments starting on the 15th of February.

“I am deeply saddened by the recent tragedy in Haiti. So many have been killed and severely affected by the earthquake—women and children in particular are most vulnerable in disasters,” said Campbell.

She added that their goal is to reach people through the New York fashion shows this season to generate funds that will help save lives of people in Haiti.

Ivan Bart, senior vice president and managing director of IMG Models, said that they are committed to make use of its programmes to support rescue efforts in Haiti.

“What Naomi is doing within the fashion industry for this cause, not only bringing much needed aid but also attention and visibility to some of the most vulnerable victims, is truly important,” he added.

Also, Bart stated that they are proud to represent the supermodel. He also said that they praise her for the efforts that she has given for the event, as well as her previous involvements in relief efforts in Mumbai, New Orleans and other places.
