Casey Johnson, heiress to the Johnson & Johnson empire, lived a grand life. However, the 30-year-old tragically passed away on Monday, as confirmed by the Los Angeles police who discovered her body.
Police said that there was no foul play. The county coroner released a statement that the cause of death has yet to be determined. Toxicology and other tests will be conducted, but the release of the final results may take weeks.
As a child, Casey was diagnosed with diabetes. In 1994, she co-wrote a book with her parents entitled, ‘Managing Your Child’s Diabetes’.
Her father is Robert Wood ‘Woody’ Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets, and her mother is socialite Sale Johsnon. She grew up in Manhattan and went to prestigious schools in New York. She also went to Brown University, but left for an internship job at a public relations firm in New York.
She moved to Los Angeles and purchased a $3.2 million home in 2001. Socialites Paris and Nicky Hilton grew up with Casey and spent much of their teenage years partying at various night clubs in New York.
“In bed crying, looking at baby pictures of Casey, Nicky and I. I feel so upset. I feel like I’ve lost a sister. My heart is broken. Miss her”, Paris Hilton tweeted.
Nicky Hilton also posted a message on her Tweeter page. It said, “Rest in peace Casey Johnson. I love and miss you so much. You are my best friend, my sister…I am broken without you”.
