Supermodel Heidi Klum was the crowd favourite during the Victoria’s Secret fashion show held in New York on Thursday night.
Klum, who recently gave birth to a daughter, paraded at the annual show of the popular lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret. She wowed the audience as she walked on the ramp.
However, the ‘Project Runway’ host, who is also married to singer Seal, only had one appearance in the fashion show. She usually wears the most elaborate ensemble.
The fashion show also featured fresh faces who were introduced into Victoria’s Secret Angels’ ranks. “Angel” is a title reserved only for supermodels. The new five Angels are Emanuela de Paula, Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lindsay Ellingson and Candice Swanepoel.
Another crowd-pleaser was the musical guest, The Black Eyed Peas. BEP member, Fergie, was also an attraction that night and was first seen in a jewelled black bodysuit. She later appeared in a green gown.
Other spectacles featured in the event were the choir and the acrobatic dancers. There was also a huge balloon designed with polka dots.
Marissa Miller, a cover girl of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, also appeared in the show. She wore a bra that was encrusted with diamonds worth $3 million.
One of the show’s themes seemed to be splashy jewels, with models dripping in crystals and diamonds. The other models wore faux fur stoles.
