R&B singer Chris Brown had flying colours in his probation report after he did some ‘labour-oriented service’ for brutally attacking his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The singer was silent when Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg examined his probation details.
“It looks like you’re doing really, really well”, said Schnegg.
The police chief assigned to the location where Brown is permitted to complete his punishment said that the singer had already done hard work for 32 days.
Schnegg admitted that she wanted to see Brown do hard physical labour and not just community service for his probation. As a reward for completing his punishment, the judge allowed him to travel outside the US once again for concert purposes.
Brown is set to appear before the court on 11 May for his second probation progress review.
Meanwhile, Schnegg has placed a restraining order on Brown, mandating him to stay away from Rihanna about 50 yards away on ordinary occasions, and 10 yards away if both are attending the same industry event.
The argument between Brown and Rihanna started in the morning of 8 February 2009. Rihanna allegedly read a text message from Brown’s previous woman. The two had a fight inside the car, which led to Brown’s beating and punching Rihanna on the face. It was stated in the report that Brown headlocked Rihanna, until the latter started to lose her consciousness.
Brown already made a public apology about the incident, and said that he already told his ex-girlfriend numerous times that he was truly sorry about what he did.
