English singer Cheryl Cole will leave the home where she and her cheating husband used to stay.
Cole has been considering two luxury properties after she told her friends that her marital house holds several painful memories. Her decision to buy a new place, possibly still in the region of Surrey, is anticipated soon.
“Cheryl does not want the separation to be a long, drawn out affair”, according to a source.
“She wants to find somewhere quickly so she can re-gain stability and become settled once more. If she can’t find somewhere she likes she’ll consider rented accommodation in the short term”, the source added.
The 26 year old singer, who started out as a member of the pop group ‘Girls Aloud’, has been able to create a personal wealth of over £6 million.
Cole receives £1.2 million annually as one of the judges on the UK TV singing competition ‘The X Factor’, while her advertising deals for Coke Zero, L’Oreal and Kit Kat gives her another £2.4 million.
Her fortune is expected to increase more after her massive success as a solo artist, with hits like ‘3 Words,’ ‘Parachute’, and Fight For This Love’.
News about her house hunting is expected to be a huge blow to the Chelsea footballer, reinforcing her determination to move on.
Cole may ask the 29 year old Chelsea ace to get her half of the £3.5 million house nearby Godalming when he comes back from France where he is undergoing treatment for an injured ankle.
“It’s a real shame because Cheryl loved that place, but all her memories of it have been soured by what’s gone on”, the source added.
