Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s wife, has been reported to have entered a rehabilitation centre according to several online sources.
TMZ.com, which first reported Mueller’s rehabilitation, said that the 32-year-old wife and mother of Sheen’s twin boys entered The Canyon rehab facility on Tuesday.
E! Online supported the same story, and reported that Mueller went to rehab for substance abuse. A source of E! told them that Mueller wishes to go to rehab since she wanted to be a better mother for her kids, Max and Bob.
Mueller’s lawyer has not yet responded to Access Hollywood’s call in the hopes of clearing the issue.
Last week, a source mentioned to Access Hollywood about Mueller’s plans of looking into rehab facilities.
Based on leaked reports, the plans of Mueller to join a rehab facility came a day following her appearance at a court last week in Aspen, Colorado, to give support to her husband. Sheen was charged with one felony count of menacing, and two counts of misdemeanour, one for third degree assault and the other one for criminal mischief.
The different charges that were filed against the actor is connected with his arrest in Colorado on Christmas Day, after Mueller allegedly called the authorities and said that Sheen used a knife to threaten her. He was issued a restraining order after the incident, yet the judge altered the order by lifting the ban.
